Goldsmith Roberta Risolo will have her own exhibition space within the Klimt Experience exhibition in Milan, the multimedia representation dedicated to the founding father of the Viennese Secession created by Crossmedia Group, hosted at MUDEC – Museum of Cultures in Milan, open until January 7, 2018.
The jewels of the artist from Salento were found and selected by the exhibition curators for their nature-inspired design and the craftsmanship in transforming them into elegant creations. The use of gemstones and the lines that become an arabesque in some collections recall Klimt's themes.
The exhibition prepares for the hundredth anniversary of the Viennese artist's death; Roberta Risolo's jewels are on display and for sale at the bookshop.
Roberta Risolo's goldsmith creations stem from original inspirations and are based on in-depth research rooted in the history of the territory: among the artist's favorite materials include olive wood. Each object expresses elements of the architecture that identifies Salento, especially Otranto, the town where the goldsmith artist lives and works (Shop Atelier Porta Terra).
