Handcrafted jewelry inspired by Puglia's identity and memory.

I am Roberta Risolo, a goldsmith artisan originally from Otranto, and for over twenty years, I have been transforming the spirit of my land into contemporary Made in Italy handcrafted jewelry. My creations are visual narratives: they tell of ancient architecture, stone-carved churches, Mediterranean wind and light, centuries-old olive trees and a vibrant culture that permeates materials and takes shape in jewelry.

 

 EDUCATION

After studying Metal and Goldsmith Art, my passion led me to Vicenza, the capital of Italian goldsmithing, where I specialized and collaborated with important companies in the sector. However, it was the return to my hometown of Otranto that marked the beginning of an authentic and personal journey: a creative workshop deeply rooted in my homeland, from which each piece of my jewelry comes to life.

In 2013, I further developed my artistic skills by attending the TAM – Artistic Metal Treatment Advanced Training Course, directed by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The following year, I also began teaching, giving Jewelry Design classes in Lecce. This journey, built over the years through research, study, and teaching, has also resulted in me being selected as a representative of the excellence of Apulian artistic craftsmanship at the Italian Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka.

 

 

THE ATELIER – ROBERTA RISOLO ART JEWELS 

In 2016, I opened my Shop Atelier in the heart of Otranto's historic center, a contemporary workshop where every creation is the product an entirely handmade process: from the initial idea to the final craftsmanship.

 

 

My artistic vision is rooted in the combination of noble and natural materials that are deeply tied to my native Puglia: Lecce stone, olive wood, together with silver, gold finishes, bronze, and brass. I am fascinated by the idea giving new life to materials through textures, contrasts and intense colors, such as green and black, transforming even the most unconventional elements into precious, original and distinctive details.

Over time, the values I cherish in my work and the meticulous care in my goldsmithing have garnered recognition even outside Italy, leading my creations being appreciated, even in international publications, as an authentic expression of Made in Italy handcrafted jewelry. The most significant recognitions include the presence of my workshop on the prestigious Homo Faber portal.
